I was drafted into the Army but enlisted into the Air Force and was assigned to EC-121 Radar Aircraft (AWACS). I ended up in Sacramento, California at McClellan Air Force Base and when I was discharged, I liked the Northern California area so much, I decided to stay and never left. I worked in private land development for many years and helped design numerous land projects in the Sacramento and Northern California region, Colorado, Utah and Mexico. The latest recession forced me to switch professions and I now work for the Sacramento County Sheriff Department maintaining the Addressing System and Digital Mapping for the 911 Emergency Dispatch Unit. Lord have Mercy!

I no longer watch too much television, but Two and a Half Men, Triple D, PBS were favorites.

Motorcycle Cruising: Grand Canyon & Four Corners area, Banff - British Columbia, Vancouver Island - British Columbia, All over California, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, NV, NM, AZ, UT.

Rafting: Colorado River and American River

3. I sailed from Hawaii to San Francisco on a 72 foot ultra-light race boat as a Watch Captain and Navigator. Using a sextant for navigation, I actually found my way home!

Mr. Paulson had a stereo console in his classroom and for whatever reason, he allowed us to play The Doors and Rolling Stones music at pretty much full volume during the lunch hour. Good Times!

Anyone who had Mr. Schmeckpepper (Spelling?) for Algebra or Geometry will certainly recall his constant reference to "Infinitly Small Points".
